השנה בתום יותר משנתיים של התמודדות עם הקורונה, נתעדכן בחידושים הרבים החלים בארץ ובעולם בתחום הרפואה הדחופה. השנה נקיים שבוע רפואה דחופה ארצית, במסגרתו תתנהל תחרות ההחייאה הארצית. התחרות תהייה פתוחה לכל המחלקות, ילדים ומבוגרים, עם צוותים שיתמודדו בתרחישים מאתגרים ובתנאים המדמים את המציאות היומיומית. נלמד מהמרצים המובילים ונשתתף בדיונים בנושאים המקצועיים השרויים במחלוקת. נתמודד בדילמות אבחנתיות וטיפוליות ונלמד מהמחקר המתנהל במסגרות השונות של רפואה דחופה בארץ.
הכנס הינו במה למקצועות השונים המשתתפים יום יום במלאכה הקשה של ניהול מיקרים דחופים במתאר הטרום בית חולים ובמלר"ד, עם האתגרים הייחודים שהמקרים הללו מציבים לפנינו. כפי שנהגנו בעבר ביום הראשון של הכנס יתקיים יום הסדנאות, יום שכולו לימוד ותרגול מעשי של טכניקות אבחנתיות ופעולות טיפוליות מתקדמות. השנה יהיה מבחר רחב של סדנאות, המיועדות לסגור פערים בפרקטיקה המקצועית בין המחלקות השונות

Director: Dr. Tony Bleetman
Dr. Tony Bleetman is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Warwick Medical School (UK) and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London (UK). He has directed and taught numerous workshops on advanced wound care and suturing. He works part-time as an attending Emergency Physician at the Beilinson Hospital.

Dr. Abe Berger has been practicing Emergency Medicine since 1994, initially at the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medicine Center in New York and now at the Assuta Ashdod Medical Center.
Dr. Michael Gutman is board certified in Emergency Medicine and works as an attending Emergency Physician at Beilinson Hospital. He has over 20 years of experience working in EM and urgent care.
Dr. Dagan Schwarz is board certified in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine and is the lead for Emergency Planning at the Beilinson Hospital. He has over 20 years of experience in medical education.
Dr. Todd Zalut has been practicing Emergency Medicine for more than 30 years both in Israel and the United States. He has been the Director of the Emergency Department of the Shaare Zedek Medical Center since 2003, and a Director in the TEREM Urgent Care System since 1993. He was a Major in the Reserves of the Israeli Air Force, serving for 18 years in a helicopter rescue unit and is currently part of the medical staff of the President of Israel. He has been organizing and teaching orthopedic and suturing workshops for the Israeli Association of Emergency Medicine for the past 10 years.

Director: Eran Tal-Or is board certified in Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine. He is the Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine of the Poriah Medical Center and has been the past Director of the Israeli Association of Emergency Medicine. He has been the chair of the Scientific Assembly of the IAEM as well as International EM Conferences. He has taught and lectured on EM nationally and internationally.

Description:
The objective of this workshop is to introduce advanced concepts and techniques that can be useful in managing the difficult airway. These include the ultrasound guided surgical airway, salad technique, intended esophageal intubation, blind bougie intubation, fiberoptic techniques, and supraglottic airways. These will be taught in hands-on small group setting.

Dr. Ron Berant is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine and is currently the Director of the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Schneider Medical Center. He is also the Director of The P2Network-Advancing Pediatric Emergency Care With Point-of-Care Ultrasound and has organized and taught emergency medicine ultrasound courses in Israel and throughout the world.
Faculty:
Dr. Yosef Ayzenberg is board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine with additional training in Cardiology. Currently he is a senior physician in the Emergency Department at the Soroka Medical Center. He has taught ultrasound at the National Israeli Course in Emergency Medicine and has performed hundreds of ultrasound guided regional blocks.
Dr. Daniel Fainsod is board certified in Emergency Medicine with a fellowship in Clinical Imaging and has higher degrees in biomedical engineering. He has taught numerous ultrasound courses at a national level.
Dr. Nadav Granat is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is finishing a second residency in Radiology at the Beilinson Medical Center. He has taught ultrasound at the National Israeli Course in Emergency Medicine and for the Scientific Council of the Israeli Medical Association. He is the author of numerous peer reviewed papers in the field of Emergency Ultrasound.
Dr. Ahmad Naama is board certified in Emergency Medicine and pursued an additional EM fellowship in Australia. He is currently a senior physician at the Hadassah Medical Center. He has taught numerous ultrasound courses at a national level and has a special interest in ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.
Dr. Keren Shahar-Nissan is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, with extensive POCUS experience. She has taught numerous ultrasound courses at a national level.

The Advanced Emergency Ultrasound Workshop is designed for the practitioner with basic ultrasound skills. The goals are to introduce advanced cardiac applications including right heart, TAPSE, regional wall motion abnormality, valvular abnormality; lung applications including identification of pneumonia and COVID-19; and abdominal applications including identification of the common bile duct, appendicitis, and small bowel obstruction.

Non-vital trauma represents 40-60% of chief complaints in the ED. There are many pitfalls in the diagnosis of lesions generating therapeutic delays that can be dramatic in terms of the functional prognosis for the patient.
